The last two evenings after work I have ridden on the bike trail that parallels the 5 Freeway and the LA River which you catch near Griffith Park. Great place to ride since you do not have to worry about cars and all those crazy drivers. However, last evening as I was cruising along a group of geese decided that they too wanted to enjoy the bike path. They were in no hurry so I just had to stop and take a photo. I also rode by a gentleman on this rather unique bike so I asked him if it was ok if I took a picture. He said that he had built the bike himself. I'm sure glad that I don't have to ride that bike 4,ooo miles. I rode 23.14 miles on Wednesday night and 27.40 last night. I will report back in after my LA River Ride on Sunday which is 70 miles.
