The Ken Nielsen Endowed Scholarship Fund will be restricted to Woodbury students in their 3rd, 4th or 5th year. (an architecture degree takes 5 years) The scholarships will be used for students who want to travel abroad but can't afford the tuition.
Ken always said his life was changed when he dropped out of school after his freshman year to travel abroad. He came back with renewed energy and went straight through until he earned his doctorate. He vowed then that he would travel abroad every single year which he has done.
