Biking for Dollars - Week 15

As of last night, September 13th I have biked 2,618 Miles with $93,724 pledged for this distance.

Now for the Exciting News I Promised!

A wonderful donor has promised to match dollar for dollar up to $25,000 between $200,000 and $225,000.  That means I could actually raise $250,000 for the surprise scholarship in Ken's name.

To help make this happen, I am personally pledging $5.00 a mile between 4,000 and 5,000 miles.

I am up to the Challenge to ride 5,000 miles and donate $5,000.

I am certain that the new goal of $250,000 is very doable with all your support.

Some Pictures from the last few weeks of summer!

When you can't go to the beach the LA River will do.  This photo was taken along the bike trail that runs from Victory to Riverside near Griffith Park.
The Santa Fe Dam is above the San Gabriel Bike Trail where the 605 Freeway meets the 210.
The gorgeous lake behind the Santa Fe Dam
As you can see from the photo,  the lake and beach are very popular.
A stop by the Long Beach Harbour on our way to Seal Beach.
Our next stop was in Belmont Shores for a little breakfast on our way to Seal Beach.

I will be back in touch on September 21st.

Thanks Again For All Your Support!
