Had a wonderful week with Sophia but the biking did suffer. I only biked 95.55 miles bringing my total to 2,447 miles. Here is a break down of my miles: 983 miles on the old odometer that broke, 1,412 on the new odometer and 54 miles on my cruiser bike
I have some very exciting news to share next week after I have ridden 2,500 Miles!!
This is the last week that I will post pictures from Ragbrai so enjoy.

There are all ages on the ride. This year the oldest gentleman was 87. He rode for two days on a tandem bike with his son.
Iowa is famous for their homemade pie which you can find at almost every stop. This rider is in search of Pumkin Pie as his helmet indicates.
All along the ride supporters come out with signs to cheet the bikers on.
This home opened up their yard with free hot dogs and beer and games as a fundraiser for MS. All they asked for was a donation.
I must include some pictures of tractors since we were in Iowa.
A tractor built for two which is rather unique.
Another great display of bikes as we entered one of the towns.
Some bikers will sleep anywhere!!
Britta and I with a baby goat on the last day of the ride.
Here we are at our campsite one night. Note the school bus in the background which belongs to Team Old Yeller from Florida. We are recruiting riders for next year so that we too can have a bus. There are at least 200 team buses (old school buses) from all over the country.
